Rekordní účast na dnech otevřených dveří 2024

Ve dnech 7. a 8. 11. 2024 proběhly na našem ústavu dny otevřených dveří, které se konaly v rámci Týdne Akademie Věd. Kvůli velkému zájmu v minulých letech, byla letos poprvé tato akce dvoudenní, což s sebou přineslo také rekordní účast – téměř 500 návštěvníků!

At a ceremony held on 25 October 2024, nine scientists received the Praemium Academiae and Lumina Quaeruntur grant from CAS President Eva Zažímalová. Among the awardees is Dr. Ivo Šulák from the Institute of Physics of Materials, who was awarded the Lumina quaeruntur grant.

Konec září přilákal do Prahy světové experty na materiálové modelování, kteří se ve dnech 22. – 27. 9. 2024 zúčastnili 11. ročníku největší mezinárodní konference Multiscale Materials Modeling (MMM11) pořádané v pražském Kongresovém centru.
