Anotace
Only very limited reports are available describing stress dependences of the minimum creep rate and the time to fracture of low alloy T23 steel. In this project, the isothermal creep tests of steel T23 and measured minimum creep strain rates at five testing temperatures ranging form 500 to 650°C were analysed with the aim to find out whether the minimum strain rate of the steel under investigation is lattice diffusion controlled. Further objective of these creep tests was to determine the lifetimes over a range of applied stresses at selected testing temperatures. Finally, an attempt was made to identify types of carbide particles in matrix and grain boundaries in creep of this steel.
