Anotace
Fracture resistance of steels for container casks of spent nuclear fuel is planned to be evaluated using recent and newly developed approaches. Development of these approaches, namely local approach, master curve methodology and toughness scaling models commonly with dynamic tasks modelling are the main objectives on scientific level. Complex assessment of fracture resistance of cast ferritic steels and suitable methodologies for fracture behaviour prediction should be supplied to end-user as the main objective on application level. The work of experimental, theoretical and computational nature, is managed on international level (France, Hungary) within the program NATO "Science for Peace".
