IPM has purchased a new electric car

As part of the “IPM Alternative-Fuel Vehicle” project, a new Toyota Proace City commercial vehicle with a fully electric powertrain was purchased. The new electric vehicle will be used primarily for the institute’s day-to-day operational and technical-administrative needs.

Our ceria nanocrystals on the front cover of Nanoscale Advances

The cover of the Royal Society of Chemistry journal Nanoscale Advances (IF = 6.3) showcases the research of Zuzana Šiška and the team within Assoc. Prof. Roman Gröger’s group at the IPM. Their paper, Microtron electron beam enables post-synthetic defect engineering in ultrasmall ceria nanocrystals, was developed through an international collaboration.
