The Institute of Physics of Materials succeeded in the fourth call of the TRIO program of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, when two of its project proposals were recommended for support.
These are projects No. FV40034 “Development of a new design of railway axles with high operational reliability” – implemented with BONATRANS GROUP a.s. (co-investigator doc. Náhlík) and No. FV40327 “Automated Optical System for Measurement of Crack Growth Dynamics” – implemented with Sobriety s.r.o. (co-investigator doc. Hutař). Within these projects, the Institute will use the results of long-term top-level basic research as a basis for industrial applications.
