The academic platform Research.com has just published the 2022 Edition of our Ranking of Top 1000 Scientists in the area of Materials Science. Jaroslav Polák have ranked #18 in the Czech Republic.
The ranking is constructed using the H-index data and includes only prominent scientists with an H-index of at least 40 for scientific papers published in the field of Materials Science. Jaroslav Polák is a recognized researcher in the field of materials fatigue research. His most important contributions in this area are experimental work and the development of a model explaining the initiation of fatigue cracks in crystalline materials.
