Small punch creep tests of mechanically alloyed aluminium alloys

Number of ProjectGA106/02/0274

Anotace
Small punch test is a progressive method of testing mechanical properties in which a ball or a puncher of hemispherical tip is penetrating through a disc supported by a ring. The method enables to test small volumes of material and thus an influence of inhomogeneities can be avoided. Within the present project it will be used for an estimation of the stress and temperature dependence of the creep properties of mechanically alloyed aluminium composites. An ultimate goal is to contribute to the knowledge of processses controlling creep deformation e.g. to assess the value of detachment coefficient. The method is also suitable for monitoring anisotropy of mechanical properties. Furthermore the influence of creep ductility on the rupture deflection will be studied.
