National Competence Centre of Mechatronics and Smart Technologies for Mechanical Engineering

Anotace

NCC MESTEC2 is a development project of the established NCC, which integrated the capacities of the existing research centres. The objective of the project is to build on the successful pilot operation of the NCC in 2019-2022, to expand the consortium, especially to include innovative SMEs and to redefine the research agenda with a focus on the development of new all-purpose mechanical engineering technologies. These will make mechatronic, but also other engineering products, processes, and services more environmentally friendly, more sustainable, smarter, and more competitive. The project includes 5 research institutes and 25 companies, with an expected annual research output of CZK 231.25 mil.The companies will participate through their own contributions without requiring direct support. The project NCK MESTEC2 is co-financed with state support from the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic under the National Centres of Competence Programme. This project is funded under the National Recovery Plan from the European Instrument for Recovery and Resilience.
