Fracture mechanics description of three dimensional structures: numerical analysis and physical consequences of constraint

Co-investigatordoc. Ing. Stanislav Seitl, Ph.D.
Number of ProjectM100410901
AgencyAkademie věd České republiky
Duration2009-05-31 - 2012-05-30

Anotace
The project should bring new knowledge concerning the mechanism and rate of the fatigue crack growth in 3D bodies including influence of geometry with complicated material structure. New methods for computations of residual service life of bodies with fatigue cracks are expected to be developed for shape different three-dimensional bodies with cracks.
