On 18 January 2018, the president of the Czech Academy of Sciences awarded an honorary medal of Ernst Mach for merits in Physics to prof. Jean-Luc Martin. Prof. Martin has been cooperating with our institute for many years. On this occasion, the symposium Current trends in materials science held on 19 January 2018 in Prague, where several close associates of Prof. Martin presented their current research.
