The Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and the Institute of Physics of Materials invite you to an exhibition entitled Genius Material. You can look forward to 19 exhibits – various materials and interesting related facts. You will learn, for example, that iron oxides are not only rust, but also a material developed for treating cancer. You will find out that material fatigue can break a train axle, or taht 3D printing of metals can produce implants tailored to a specific person.
The interactive exhibition will be open every weekday from 10 am to 6 pm from 5 March to 14 June 2025 at the Academy of Sciences building (Národní 3, Prague 1). Admission is free. A brochure in English will also be available.
