On November 7 and 8, 2024, our institute held open days as part of the Week of the Academy of Sciences. Due to the great interest in previous years, this year, for the first time, the event was a two-day event, bringing a record attendance – almost 500 visitors!
On Thursday, we were open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and visitors could visit our laboratories at three times (9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 1:00 p.m.) and at the Science Show called Trhni si! (Bite me!). Each show was preceded by a lecture by Martin Friák, which was on the topic of Quantum Forge and was a great success.
On Friday, there was a lecture and a Science Show at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m., but this time only for schools.
