Anotace
A melting in classical vacuum induction furnaces equipped with ceramic crucibles followed by a gravity casting into ceramic shell moulds represents a processing route that reduces the production cost of gamma TiAl components. This melting and casting technology is difficult in the case of complex-shaped intermetallic castings that are prone to macroscopic cracking. The project is thus aimed at the analysis of thermoelastic stresses in the system intermetallic cast - ceramic shell mould. The two principal solution steps are based on the numerical simulation of non-stationary heat conduction and associated stress states in the system. Databases of gamma TiAl creep properties and ceramic shell thermal expansions are extensively used.
