‘Shaping Order’ for a Cleaner Future

A new review article titled „TiO₂ mesocrystals: recent progress in synthesis, structure, and photocatalytic applications“ has been published in the journal Advanced Composites and Hybrid Materials, authored by MSc. Anjali Valadi Palliyalil and Dr. Sanjay Gopal Ullattil from the Institute of Physics of Materials.
Directors of the IPM received the Memorial Medals of FME BUT

Prof. Tomáš Kruml and Prof. Ludvík Kunz, current and former director of the Institute of Physics of Materials, received the Memorial Medal on Wednesday, June 4, during the Scientific Council Ceremony of the FME. Looking Back at the Applied Mechanics 2025 Conference

At the end of April, the Institute of Physics of Materials organized the Applied Mechanics 2025 conference, held in the picturesque town of Mikulov. The conference was chaired by Prof. Luboš Náhlík. IPM completed the construction of the Electron Microscopy Centre

The construction of the Electron Microscopy Centre has been completed at the Institute of Physics of Materials of the CAS. In the new building, a total of 5 rooms for 2 transmission and 3 scanning electron microscopes, including the necessary facilities and laboratories for sample preparation have been built.
