On Thursday, May 14, 2026, Institute of Physics of Materials was visited by the President of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Prof. RNDr. Radomír Pánek, Ph.D., and Vice Presidents Ing. Ilona Müllerová, DrSc., and Ing. Miroslava Anděrová, CSc.
The meeting with the institute’s leadership and staff took place as part of the Academy of Sciences’ regular visits to its institutes. During the visit, a lively discussion session was held with the institute’s staff, during which Prof. Pánek presented current topics related to developments at the Czech Academy of Sciences. The presentation was followed by an open discussion, which provided an opportunity for both sides to share their views and suggestions. This friendly meeting thus facilitated a direct exchange of perspectives between the leadership of the Czech Academy of Sciences and the institute’s staff.
