The Institute of Physics of Materials of the Czech Academy of Sciences will host the 18th International Conference on Intergranular and Interphase Boundaries in Materials. This will be the first time the conference has been held in the Czech Republic.
IIB conferences provide a platform for scientists and researchers to exchange ideas regarding the understanding, control, and design of interfaces in various materials and to share new advances in their research in different fields of interface science and technologies.
The conference will take place from July 11 to 16, 2027, in Brno. The scientific program and social activities will be situated in the heart of Brno. The Conference Chair from our institute is Dr. A. Ostapovec.
